SnapLingua uses your device camera to capture images for language learning and object detection. Photos are not stored or shared unless you explicitly save or share them.
1.3 Translation & Voice Data
All translation and voice recognition processing in v1.0.0 is performed fully on your device. No audio or images are sent to any server.
2. How We Use Your Data
We use the collected information for:
- Providing and improving the App
- Running object detection & translation features
- Debugging and crash reporting (no personal identifiers)
- Personalizing user experience (language settings, progress tracking)
- Note: v1.0.0 does not display ads or send data to third parties.
3. Ads & Analytics
3.1 Advertising
- v1.0.0 is ad-free.
- If ads are added in future versions, they may use anonymous device identifiers for ad personalization.
3.2 Analytics
Analytics data, if used, is anonymous and does not include personal identifiers.
4. Third-Party Services
We use third-party libraries to provide app features:
- Google ML Kit (for object detection and translation)
- These services process data locally; no user data is sent in v1.0.0.

The App requires the following permissions:
- Camera : To capture photos for object detection and translation.
- Microphone usage : To recognize object names by voice input.
- Storage : To save detected object images and history (if you use the save feature).
- Internet : Used only for download language models. No data is sent to any server.
Permissions are requested only when the feature is used. You can revoke them anytime from your device settings.
